Astha Joshi is one of the changemakers for EmpowHER 2016. Her idea “Swagatham (Welcome)” uses an online portal to connect homestays led by female homemakers to a wider range of consumers. Support her project to enhance women empowerment.
4. Barsha Rani Gurung
Barsha Rani Gurung is one of the changemakers for EmpowHER 2016. Her “Green Printing the Curriculum” project focuses on compiling, developing, and implementing interactive lessons to inspire and ignite environmental stewardship in middle school students through a gender-sensitive lens. 5. Comilina Bajracharya
Comilina Bajracharya is one of the changemakers for EmpowHER 2016. Her idea “We can Do” aims to uplift the status of women survivors of domestic violence in Lamatar community by providing them with small business opportunities to become economically resilient. 6. Ishwora Pachhai

7. Nikita Singh
Nikita Singh is one of the changemakers for EmpowHER 2016. Her project is focused on empowering Dalit young women to enhance their socio-economical status via diverse personal development, life skills, and capacity building trainings. 8. Nilima Thapa
Nilima Thapa is changemakers for EmpowHER 2016. Her idea “Menstruation 101” is focused on increasing awareness and understanding of menstruation health and hygiene among young women and men by addressing the cause and effect of irregular periods, and the need of proper menstrual hygiene management. 9. Palzom Pradhan Sherpa
Palzom Pradhan is one of the changemakers for EmpowHER 2016. Her project “A Cup of Prosperity” focuses on providing innovative skills to female tea-growers of Ekteen Khunga, Panchthar to enhance tea cultivation and their livelihood.
